About us

PEOPLE includes hotel and hostel and consists of two buildings - one of which is a hostel and the other one is a hotel. PEOPLE furnished according to the standarts of the International Hostel Association (www.hihostels.com) member of which it is.

PEOPLE hostel&hotel is conveniently located on an intersection of Novinscky boulevard and Novy Arbat street, within walking distance from two metro stations - Smolenskaya and Krasnopresnenskaya. PEOPLE occupies part of the old palace, previously belonged to prince Scherbatov. The palace was built by architect A.I.Tamanyan in 1911-1913 in the neo-classicism style. This is the famous residential complex in Novinsky boulevard, 11, which was awarded first prize and gold medal for the beauty of the house facade in 1913. Currently the palace is part of cultural heritage of the Moscow city center.

PEOPLE hostel is located on the ground floor of a separate building deep inside of a quiet interior court-yard which distinguishes it to the best advantage from other hostels.

PEOPLE hotel occupies a three-store building in the adjacent court and has a separate entrance.

PEOPLE is located very close to the embassies of the USA and Great Britain (the US Embassy is just a few steps away from us).

Great location allows our guests to walk to all the tourist sights in the city center. Moreover the hostel is situated not far from the largest exhibition center Expo Centre, only 2 stations by metro.

PEOPLE is equipped with up-to-date security and communication systems.

PEOPLE was founded by the professionals who have been involved in the hotel business for more than 20 years.

Check-in at 2 p.m., check-out at 12 p.m., reception desk works 24 hours. If we have free beds the earlier accommodation without additional payment is possible.

Accommodation is to be fully paid at check-in in RUB.

Upon chech-in guests will receive a magnetic key for access to the room. Each guest has to pay a key-deposit of 500 RUB. In case the key are lost the key-deposit is not refundable.

Drunk guests unfortunatelly are refused in accommodation.

Smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibibded.

In case the guest ignores these rules the administration has the right to refuse of accommodation without returning payment for accommodation.

Rooms

Hostel&Hotel PEOPLE includes PEOPLE hostel and PEOPLE hotel, located close to each other with separate premises and entrances. PEOPLE hostel offers accommodation in 9 dorm-rooms: four 6-bedded rooms, four 4-bedded rooms and one double room. All rooms in the hostel have bunk beds. PEOPLE hotel offers accommodation in 16 double, twin and single rooms.

Hostel&Hotel PEOPLE welcomes to accommodate up to 70 guests.
